What's Under YOUR Couch Cushions???

First of all, it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Let's see...a plastic toy cell phone, a yellow crayon, a plastic "Doc Oc" arm, and an empty packet of Arby Sauce...ewww!

Yuck! I know, but I'm entering a contest to win a very cute cupcake pillow. If you'd like to show off what is under your couch cushions, then you can enter here: http://whimsy-girl.blogspot.com/.

The Incredible Shrinking Kids

Two Really Cool Things...at least to me, anyway!

First of all, I  found this "smiley" in my coffee! I know that in the picture the right eye is kind of blended in with the smile, but it was not like that when I first saw it.
It was very clear, but when I ran to get the camera it kind of melted together.
You can still kind of see it though.

Second (and this is a biggie for Houston), it SNOWED last night! It never snows like that here, so it was neat to see. Unfortunately, it was all melted by morning, but we enjoyed it while it was here. I even heard some neighbor kids out at midnight last night playing in the snow.

So, here are some pictures! Enjoy - it'll be years before it happens again...ha!

The Ghost of Honolulu Lives!!!

***Tracie, I thought you would get a really good laugh at this one.***

For everyone else: When my sister and I were little, if something happened we didn't want to get blamed for we'd always jokingly blame "The Ghost of Honolulu." Don't ask us how he got started, or why we named him that - we have no idea. But he has stuck around over the years and still rears his ugly head every now and again.

I've told my kids about him, and now he is being blamed for stuff around here all the time too. They think it is just hilarious!

Well, this morning Tommy came to me and asked where something was. I told him "I don't know." And do you want to know what he said? He said "Well, maybe its in Honolulu Land." HA!

So, now that pesky ghost is stealing stuff and taking it home! HA!
